My New Babies
This is Shelby, who is a Sheltie, born August 16th, day after Emma”s birthday. Don, my husband, got her for my birthday. She will get to be about 14 inches tall. Dawnetta, my daughter, and her kids, my grandkids, Alysha, Rachael, Joshua and Thomas went on a three hour long trip to get her.
And this is Molly, born May 29th. Lori, my daughter, and her kids, my grand kids, Christopher, Sarah, Rebecca, Delany and Emma gave her to me.
They play together, eat together and destroy my house together. They both want to eat each others food so have to keep them separate to eat.
Neither one can stand to see the other sleeping.
Molly slept on my bed a couple nights but then she decided where she would sleep. Tried the first two nights with Shelby on my bed but decided to get her a bed and she sleeps beside my bed on the floor. Somethimes she even goes to bed before me. During the day they both can be found sleeping almost anywhere, after they wear each other out.
Molly used a litter box right after she was born and able to get around. Lori put a litter box in with the kittens right away. Now we are working on training Shelby to go outside. LOL , this is so much fun. Sometimes I wonder about my sanity on getting them both but they do keep me company (and busy) while Don is on the road and my grandkids are not here. (sigh)
They are both very loving and loyal, they even stay in with me while I shower. ;)
